What’s the difference between Fortnite and the Entity from Dead by Daylight, you ask? The Entity from Dead by Daylight is a massive, amorphous beast that reaches out beyond time and space and devours all it sees. Heyooooo. Joking aside, Fortnite and Dead by Daylight are both massively popular games that are only growing in popularity, thanks in large part to crossover potential. It is therefore possible that the games will interact with one another.

Rumors have begun to circulate that the Dead by Daylight makers, Behaviour Interactive, are in negotiations with the Fortnite developers, Epic Games, about a possible crossover.
The claim was first spread on Twitter by iFireMonkey, a well-known leaker and rumor-hunter in the Fortnite community.

“Recently, it has come to my attention that the team at Behaviour (Creators of DBD) has been discussing propositions for a Fortnite x DBD Collab,” iFireMonkey wrote in a tweet.
“From what I’ve heard, this notion has been floating around since March of this year, and no new information has emerged since then, which could imply that this idea was rejected.” However, it’s interesting to see it being discussed among the DBD crew.”
According to iFireMonkey, if this crossover occurs, it will be a rather minor event. Fortnite players would receive a skin of Dead by Daylight Survivor Meg Thomas, while Dead by Daylight players would receive a charm in the shape of Fortnite’s iconic llama piñata.

Because this is still a rumour, take it with a grain of salt. However, Epic recently sent out a survey featuring Dead by Daylight-related questions, which could indicate a prospective partnership. Both Behaviour and Epic have previously signed crossover deals with Universal Pictures, so they may have had interaction around those areas.
